In the 20 years since it was founded, Kymi Brass has featured
a host of front-line brass players from all over the world – James Morrison (AU),
Boston Brass (USA), Jeroen Berwaerts (BE, trumpet), Alessandro Fossi (IT),
Sergio Carolino & the European Tuba Trio (tuba), Solistiseitsikko Imperial (FI),
Jens Bjørn-Larsen (DK, tuba), Jouko Harjanne (FI, trumpet),
Pasi Pirinen (FI, trumpet) and Harri Lidsle (FI, tuba), to name just a few.
First-class private and ensemble tuition is provided during
the Kymi Brass weekend, along with a feast of brass music
in concerts at venues ranging from churches to taverns.
